Please remember Coaches pick Teams, not the Players or Parents! This includes players positions and roles within the team. As Parents, it’s not for you to judge on this. If you think you can see where a player is best played, then get involved with the Club as a Coach and contact the Club Secretary. But be mindful - you need Coaching Qualifications and a Disclosure Scotland check. Parents who Coach, need to be impartial. Also, when on the sidelines, please encourage and support ALL players Positively! Please don’t coach your wee footballer or anyone elses! Parents who continue to contradict this, will be asked not to speak with, direct or instruct players, including their own. And if this continues, they will be asked to leave, taking their player away. This is highlighted in the Club’s and the PJ&DYFL League’s Parents Charter, which you agreed to! Coaches care about individual players Development, however they also have to consider the bigger picture of the whole team’s development. SUPPORT ALL THE PLAYERS POSITIVELY !!!
